The Roosevelt After-School Strings Program (RASP) offers students the chance to learn from professional orchestral musicians, participate in advanced ensemble playing, and connect with other passionate young musicians from the Cedar Rapids metro area. This program is completely tuition-free and does not require an audition.

Meeting Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:15–5:15 p.m.
Location: RCCBA Band/Orchestra Room (300 13th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA)
First Day: Tuesday, September 16, 2025
Cost: 100% free (limited to 20 students)

Eligibility: Open to RCCBA Orchestra students and 6th–8th grade Orchestra students from schools across the Cedar Rapids area.
