Now Hear This is produced by GMixEast and presented by Orchestra Iowa. The series is dedicated to providing performing artists an opportunity to develop their musical vision culminating in a live performance.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are $12 available through the Orchestra Iowa ticket office, online at artsiowa.com, or at the door the evening of the event as available.

October’s Artist…

Lucky Whiskers is an indie folk duo comprised of Billy and Amy Ford. Amy has been playing music for the past 20 years. Billy was host of the open mic night at The Yacht Club from 2012 to 2014 and was a co-host for Little Village Live. Originally hailing from Burlington, this married couple uses personal experiences to convey a wide range of stories of loss, love, hopes, dreams, addiction and ambition. Some of their musical inspirations are Big Thief, The Weakerthans, Bright Eyes, The Civil Wars, and Frank Turner.

The Now Hear This Series features an eclectic mix of musicians and music in an intimate, upscale environment.
