Lucy Conroy

Now Hear This presents Lucy Conroy, a native Iowan with 15 years of live performance experience. Conroy has a wide range of disciplines including classical cello, local musical theatre, and contemporary vocals. Most recently, she can be found on the stage at Theatre Cedar Rapids or playing supporting non-traditional cello for local performances such as Music in the Courtyard at Brucemore or with Prince Wonten at CSPS. Lucy also has experience in studio recordings and is featured on records such as “Garden House” and “What a Gorgeous Day” by Treesreach and “Worse Things Happen at Sea” by Jake Stack.

Now Hear This is Lucy’s first solo performance and producing experience. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres including country, jazz, and pop, this performance is sure to leave audiences feeling as if they know Lucy Conroy personally.
