Now Hear This is produced by GMixEast and presented by Orchestra Iowa. The series is dedicated to providing performing artists an opportunity to develop their musical vision culminating in a live performance.

Hailing from the rural landscapes of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Scott Dix is featured in this solo acoustic show rooted in folk and country music. With his playfully titled show, “Flannel & Fleshwounds,” Scott invites you to an intimate space where raw emotion meets the simplicity of life’s stories. Drawing from his upbringing in the heart of Appalachia, he brings two sets of soul-stirring tunes, creating an experience as comforting as flannel and as familiar as the memories etched onto our hearts. Join us for an evening where each song is a bridge to deeper connection.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are $12 available through the Orchestra Iowa ticket office, online at artsiowa.com, or at the door the evening of the event as available.
