The First Friday of Every Month.
What better way to start each month, than an evening of jazz at the Opus Concert Café. Offering an eclectic mix of the Corridor’s best jazz soloists and ensembles, each month features a new musical talent and their tribute to the genre that has defied the eras.
September features “Invisible Jazz”
Invisible Jazz offers a fresh take on Contemporary, Smooth and Standards Jazz ranging from Lee Ritenour, George Benson, Chick Corea, Al Dimeola, Marcus Miller, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock to jazz standards from the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk.
The Invisible Jazz sound is far from invisible… it’s virtuoso! Interpreting great jazz with a highly improvisational approach, Invisible Jazz draws on over 50 years musical experience by each band member.
