Now Hear This is produced by GMixEast and presented by Orchestra Iowa. The series is dedicated to providing performing artists an opportunity to develop their musical vision culminating in a live performance.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are $12 available through the Orchestra Iowa ticket office, online at artsiowa.com, or at the door the evening of the event as available.

The Now Hear This Series features an eclectic mix of musicians and music in an intimate, upscale environment.

Marcy Each

Marcy Each is an Iowa born-and-raised Dove-award-nominated singer-songwriter who likes to go creek stomping, weed the garden, and bake chocolate chip cookies.

Her most recent album, Ghosts of Fishermen, is a nostalgic, honest, Americana collection of stories and songs that expresses the values of a small town girl from the midwest. After hearing Each sing at a guitar camp, Scott Nygaard (former senior editor to Acoustic Guitar magazine) wrote, “_Each’s gorgeous, soulful singing and songwriting was the talk of the dining hall—calling her a combination of Norah Jones and Gillian Welch describes her without really doing her justice.” Each continues to write and release music while living her simple and steady life in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her husband and three kids.
